Meesho, the Bengaluru-based e-commerce marketplace, hires through its own careers site and a public job board on Lever. This guide covers where it is hiring in October 2026, how applications move, what candidates report about interview rounds, and how to prepare. 100Xfounder is an independent site and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meesho.

Where Meesho is hiring right now

Meesho’s official careers page is meesho.io/jobs, and its company scam notice says every Meesho job is published there. Openings are hosted on jobs.lever.co/meesho. When we checked Meesho’s Lever job board on 4 October 2026, it listed 56 open postings, all in India. Counts change often, so see our live Meesho jobs page for the current list, or browse all jobs on 100Xfounder.

The teams with the most openings that day were:

  • Fulfilment and Experience: cluster heads for last-mile delivery and for security and investigations, program operations, user experience and a field sales role tied to Meesho’s pickup-point network.
  • Finance: business finance, controllership and procurement roles from deputy manager up to director.
  • Product and Design: product managers at several levels, a group product manager, a design director and a lead product designer.
  • Tech, data and AI: engineering managers for backend, platform and AI engineering, senior data and DevOps engineers, data scientists and a security architect.
  • Meesho AI Services: sales and go-to-market roles for what the postings describe as a new business inside Meesho.

Bengaluru dominates: 50 of the 56 postings list it as a location. The rest are a handful of roles in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Jaipur, Surat and Coimbatore, mostly in fulfilment. Lever tags 54 postings as on-site and two as hybrid. Most current openings are for experienced hires: seven are director or associate-director roles, and only one is a trainee position.

Students and recent graduates should look at Meesho’s separate early careers page. When we checked, it listed entry-level tracks in software engineering, business analytics, product design, data science, a business management track, and finance and HR, with internships in several of them. It also showed an announcement for a women-only hackathon.

What Meesho looks for

Meesho’s careers pages describe building for first-time online shoppers across India, which it calls building for Bharat. Its Tech at Meesho page repeats a few themes for each function:

  • Speed over perfection. Product and engineering teams say they ship fast and iterate, and that failure is not looked down on.
  • Ownership. Engineers are expected to have a founder’s mindset and work in cross-functional pods with product managers, designers and data scientists.
  • Problem first. Product managers are judged on impact rather than features, and on how well they discover the real problem.
  • User empathy. Designers work on making shopping simple for people with little e-commerce experience.
  • Scale. Engineering stresses systems that hold up on sale days, and data science works on problems such as fraud detection, cataloguing and vernacular support.

The standard text on Meesho’s Lever postings adds that the company runs on nine guiding principles it calls “Mantras”, which shape recognition, evaluation and growth discussions.

The hiring process

Meesho does not publish a stage-by-stage hiring guide. What it does say officially, on its job scams page, is that recruitment is multi-round and merit-based. Put together with its job board, the process looks like this:

  1. Apply online. Apply through meesho.io/jobs or the Lever posting. Meesho says it also works with authorised recruitment agencies to source profiles, but those agencies cannot charge you or make a final offer.
  2. Interview rounds. The number and type of rounds depend on the role and level; see the candidate reports below. Lever postings say Meesho offers reasonable accommodations during interviews on request, and application forms in alternate formats, for candidates with disabilities.
  3. Offer. Final offers come only from an @meesho.com email address. Meesho says it will ask for bank details only after the offer letter is issued, and only by @meesho.com email.

We could not find an official timeline for how long the process takes. It varies by role.

Interview rounds by role

The details below come from candidate reports on public forums. They are individual experiences, not Meesho’s official process, and formats change.

Engineering

  • Online assessment. Several candidates describe a timed coding test on HackerRank or HackerEarth, typically around 90 minutes with three data structures and algorithms problems, according to reports on LeetCode Discuss (October 2024) and GeeksforGeeks (August 2025).
  • Machine coding or low-level design. Candidates report being asked to build a small working system with clean object-oriented code in a fixed time. One SDE-2 candidate described a two-hour machine coding round and said not finishing in time cost them the offer.
  • Problem-solving round. A live data structures and algorithms interview, sometimes with follow-up discussion on why one data structure suits better than another.
  • Hiring manager round. A discussion of past projects and motivation. One lateral candidate said it also included design questions on concurrency.

One 2025 campus candidate said all rounds after the online test took place in person on a single day. A 2021 on-campus report described a project deep-dive instead of a design round.

Product management

Candidate reports on AmbitionBox describe product-thinking and case questions, including root-cause analysis of a falling metric, estimation problems, and questions tied to Meesho’s own marketplace and ads business.

Other roles

We did not find enough consistent reports for finance, fulfilment, design or data science to describe their rounds. Read the job post carefully and ask the recruiter what to expect.

How to stand out

  • Know the user. Meesho builds for value-conscious, often first-time online shoppers and small sellers. Show you understand that customer, not just e-commerce in general.
  • Practise building, not only solving. For engineering roles, rehearse writing a small, runnable, well-structured system within a time limit, since candidates repeatedly mention machine coding.
  • Think out loud. Meesho’s own early-careers page advises candidates to stay calm, walk through their thought process, run mock interviews, and research the company’s journey and the role.
  • Read the team’s work. The Meesho blog has posts on backend, data science, product and culture, and the older Meesho Tech blog on Medium covers topics such as supply chain, security automation and usability testing.
  • Match the location. Almost every current role is on-site in Bengaluru. Meesho dropped its work-from-anywhere policy for a flexi-office model in June 2023, OfficeChai reported, so check each posting’s work type.

Benefits and culture

Meesho is known for its leave policies, and several are verifiable:

  • Reset and Recharge. A company-wide break after the festive sale season. It ran for 11 days in 2022, People Matters reported, and for nine days in 2024, which OfficeChai reported was the fourth year in a row.
  • Parental leave. In 2021 Meesho announced a 30-week gender-neutral parental leave policy covering adoption, surrogacy, same-sex couples and live-in partners, Elets CIO reported.
  • Wellness leave. People Matters also reported an unlimited wellness leave policy for employees facing critical illness, allowing up to 365 days of paid leave.

Meesho’s Life at Meesho page also lists flexible hours, free doctor consultations for employees and family, study leave, tuition reimbursement and employee stock options with past buybacks. Its Lever postings describe pay as a mix of cash and equity and name a wellness programme called MeeCare. Policies can change, so confirm current terms with the recruiter.

Referrals, timelines and offers

We found no public description of a Meesho referral programme, so a referral from someone who knows your work is a bonus, not a requirement. Never pay anyone for a referral or interview slot. Meesho says it never charges fees at any stage, never requires paid pre-joining training, and asks anyone unsure about a recruiter or offer to write to reporthiringfraud@meesho.com.

Meesho has been a listed company since its shares debuted on the NSE and BSE on 10 December 2025, Business Today reported. When an offer arrives, ask how any equity component vests, and use our in-hand salary calculator to estimate your monthly take-home pay.
