100X Meter Early

Think Rad AI could go 100X?

Give it a push. One tap per reader each day; the meter tracks buzz here, not quality.

What Rad AI does

Rad AI builds AI software for radiologists. Its site describes the products as built by radiologists, for radiologists. The company was founded in 2018 by Jeff Chang, a radiologist, and Doktor Gurson, a serial entrepreneur who is chief executive.

There are three products. Rad AI Impressions (formerly Omni Impressions) drafts the impression, the summary and conclusion of a radiology report, from the radiologist’s dictated findings, adapted to each doctor’s style. Rad AI Reporting applies AI across the whole reporting workflow. Rad AI Continuity flags actionable findings, such as a possible new cancer, and tracks that the recommended follow-up actually happens. The company says Reporting can cut dictated words by up to 90% and save up to 50% of reporting time; these are its own claims. Its site says more than 200 health organisations use it, and shows testimonials from radiology groups including Lehigh Valley Health Network and Inland Imaging.

In May 2024 Rad AI raised a $50 million Series B led by Khosla Ventures and World Innovation Lab. Seven months later, on 30 January 2025, it announced a $60 million Series C led by Transformation Capital at a $525 million valuation, taking its total funding past $140 million. In May 2025 four health systems, Advocate Health, Memorial Hermann, Corewell Health and Atlantic Health System, added $8 million to the round.

Rad AI does not publish prices; hospitals and radiology practices request a demo. It is not a product for patients. Practices weighing it up usually compare it with the reporting tools they already use, since it has to fit into existing dictation and reporting systems.

This profile is put together from the company’s own pages and published reporting, checked on 15 October 2026. We have not tested the product, and nothing here is paid placement.
