Databox is an analytics and reporting platform that pulls performance data from more than 130 tools, spreadsheets, databases and APIs into shared metrics, dashboards and goals. It says more than 20,000 businesses use it. Its AI Analyst, called Genie, answers questions about that data in plain language and explains what is driving a number.
Artifacts, the feature launched on Product Hunt, is what the AI Analyst produces when you ask for something to share. Ask for a report, a slide deck, a dashboard or an interactive doc and it builds one from your connected data. You can share an artifact by link with no login needed, download it as a PDF or HTML file, or turn the prompt into a Routine that delivers a fresh version with current data on a schedule, such as a monthly board revenue recap. Databox also runs an MCP server, so tools such as Claude can query the same governed data. Artifacts launched on 27 July 2026 and finished #2 for the day with 408 points and 88 comments. Databox’s leadership listed on its site includes CEO Peter Caputa IV and President and CPO Davorin Gabrovec.
We have not tested Databox ourselves. This page brings together its official site, its Product Hunt page and the public pages of the products it is compared with, and says where each fact comes from.
