Tenderd (styled TENDERD) makes AI-powered fleet and equipment management software for heavy industry such as construction, energy, logistics and infrastructure. It connects vehicles and machinery to one platform for real-time GPS tracking and geofencing, safety monitoring, equipment allocation, predictive maintenance, fuel and energy tracking, emissions monitoring, cost tracking and reports. The aim is to raise how much of the time expensive equipment is actually used and to cut fuel use and emissions.
The company is based in the United Arab Emirates. Y Combinator’s directory says it was founded in 2018 and went through YC in summer 2018, and names Arjun Mohan as founder. Wamda reported a $5.8 million seed round in 2019, led by Y Combinator and BECO Capital. In June 2024 Tenderd closed a $30 million Series A led by A.P. Moller Holding, the investment company behind Maersk, with new investors Quadri Ventures and Saurya Prakash and existing investors Wa’ed Ventures, Nakhla Ventures, SOMA Capital and Liquid 2 Ventures, Wamda and Enterprise reported. Wamda said the money would go into technology and international expansion.
Tenderd does not publish prices; its website asks companies to book a demo. It is a fit for large operators with mixed fleets of machines and vehicles, especially in the Gulf region, and competes with telematics and fleet platforms such as Samsara and Trimble.
We have not used Tenderd for this page. It brings together Tenderd’s own website and the reporting linked under Sources, and says where each fact comes from. Nothing here is paid placement.
