Stacker started as a no-code tool that turned a spreadsheet or database, such as Google Sheets, Airtable, a SQL database or Salesforce, into a working web app with logins and permissions, so business teams could build internal tools and customer portals without developers. Its website now calls it an AI-native application platform for building internal tools, CRMs and dashboards, with AI agents that do tasks such as summaries, CRM updates, outbound email, research and media generation, connected to more than 2,000 integrations.
Stacker is based in London. Y Combinator’s directory says it was founded in 2017, went through YC in summer 2020, and lists Michael Skelly as founder. Tech.eu reported a £1 million seed round in 2019 led by Pentech, describing it as founded by three British developers. TechCrunch reported a $1.7 million round in January 2021 and, in August 2021, a $20 million Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz with Initialized Capital, Y Combinator and Pentech, bringing its total to about $23 million.
Stacker publishes its prices. There is one plan with every feature, sold by monthly credits: it starts at $50 a month for 250 credits, rising to $2,000 a month for 10,000 credits, with no per-seat fees. New accounts get $100 of free credits without a credit card. Simple tasks use 1 to 3 credits and larger projects 20 to 50.
We have not used Stacker for this page. It brings together Stacker’s own website and the reporting linked under Sources, and says where each fact comes from. Nothing here is paid placement.
