Ancher 2.0
Turn everything you read and save into work you can ship
What Ancher 2.0 does
Ancher is a tool for keeping and reusing what you read and watch. You save articles, YouTube videos, X, LinkedIn, Reddit and Instagram posts, podcasts, PDFs and screenshots from the web app, the mobile app, the browser extension, Slack, Telegram or email. Ancher writes structured notes for each item (key points, takeaways and video keyframes), links related sources, and lets you find things later by meaning rather than by title or URL, down to the exact sentence or moment in a video, with the source attached.
You can then ask questions across what you’ve saved, use it as context in ChatGPT or Claude, or have Ancher’s own agent turn it into a memo, research brief, report, presentation or post in your voice. Ancher remembers only what you choose to save. Its homepage says your notes and files are never shared with other accounts or used to train AI, though its security page says fuller details are still to come.
Ancher is made by Streamify Tech, Inc.; its co-founder and CEO, Vincent Wu, previously spent 15 years in media at HuffPost, Yahoo News and NewsBreak. Ancher 2.0 launched on Product Hunt on 12 October 2026 and finished #6 for the day with 151 upvotes and 38 comments.
We have not tested Ancher ourselves. This page brings together its official site, pricing page and terms, its Product Hunt page and the official pricing pages of comparable apps, and says where each fact comes from.
What people use Ancher 2.0 for
- Saving a line from an X post or 30 seconds of a YouTube video and finding it again weeks later
- Turning a collection of saved sources into a research brief, report or presentation
- Giving ChatGPT or Claude your own saved material as context
- Drafting social posts from what you've read, in your own voice
The launch story
Vincent Wu says he spent 15 years in media helping algorithms decide what people see, and now wants to help people, and their agents, get back to what was worth keeping. His argument: everyone can use the same AI models, but nobody has read the same things or noticed the same details, so the work becomes yours before you write a prompt.
He describes Ancher 2.0 as an "agentic Dropbox": just as Dropbox made files available wherever you work, Ancher aims to make what you save usable wherever your agents work. You save a post, video, podcast or idea, later ask what you saved about something, find the exact passage with its source, and put it to work in ChatGPT, Claude or Ancher's own agent.
