Yotpo is a marketing software company for online stores. Its best-known product
collects customer reviews after a purchase and shows them, with photos and ratings,
on the store’s product pages. Alongside reviews it sells a loyalty and referrals
product for points, tiers and referral rewards, and a newer service it calls AI
Visibility, aimed at how brands appear in AI-powered search and shopping assistants.
Its homepage pitches the platform at e-commerce brands, and it is widely used by
Shopify merchants.

Calcalist reports that Yotpo was founded in 2011 by Tomer Tagrin and Omri Cohen.
Globes described the company in 2020 as having offices in Tel Aviv, Yokneam, New
York, London and Sofia, and about 500 employees. At the time its products also included
visual user-generated content and SMS marketing.

Funding came in several rounds. Globes reported a $75 million Series E in August
2020 at a valuation of nearly $1 billion, bringing total funding to $176 million.
Calcalist reported a $230 million Series F in March 2021, led by Bessemer Venture
Partners and Tiger Global, at a $1.4 billion valuation. After hiring heavily during
the pandemic e-commerce boom, Yotpo laid off 70 people, about 9% of its staff, in
November 2022, citing the economic slowdown.

Pricing is public for the entry tiers. When we checked, the Reviews product had
a limited free plan for up to 50 orders a month, a Starter plan at $89 a month and
a Pro plan at $169 a month, with Premium and Enterprise priced by quote. Loyalty
has a free plan and paid tiers from $199 a month. Bundles of both products are offered
at a discount.
