Truepill was a business-to-business digital pharmacy. Telehealth companies and direct-
to-consumer health brands used its API and pharmacies to fill and ship prescriptions
under their own brand, and it later added telehealth and at-home testing services.
Fierce Healthcare reported that it started out as the pharmacy fulfilment backbone
for brands such as Hims and Nurx. Y Combinator’s directory says it was founded in
2017, went through YC in summer 2017, and names Sid Viswanathan as a founder.

Truepill grew quickly during the pandemic. In October 2021 it raised a $142 million
Series D at a $1.6 billion valuation, with existing investors Initialized Capital
and TI Platform Management taking part, Fierce Healthcare and MobiHealthNews reported.
In 2024 home testing company LetsGetChecked acquired Truepill, and in May 2025 the
combined business launched as Fuze Health, GenomeWeb reported. Truepill’s old website
now redirects to FuzeRx, Fuze Health’s pharmacy service, and Y Combinator lists
Truepill’s status as acquired. Separately, the UK health platform Phlo bought Truepill’s
UK arm.

FuzeRx describes itself as pharmacy services built for life sciences companies,
payers and providers: home dispensing, a virtual pharmacy, hub services and white-
label pharmacy through an API, with insurance, FSA/HSA and savings-card payments.
It does not publish prices; partners contact the sales team. So this page describes
a brand that no longer exists on its own: anyone looking for Truepill’s services
today should look at FuzeRx.

_We have not used Truepill for this page. It brings together Truepill’s own website
and the reporting linked under Sources, and says where each fact comes from. Nothing
here is paid placement._
