Hexis is a shared knowledge layer for a team and all of its AI agents. It holds
three things. Context is company knowledge where every page has an owner and changes
go live only when the owner approves, with every version kept. Skills are reusable
instructions for agents that anyone can suggest changes to in the browser; it starts
with 58 ready-made ones. Tools are hundreds of services, such as HubSpot, Notion,
Jira, Linear, Google Drive, GitHub, Gmail and Zendesk, reached through a single
MCP connection, with keys kept on the server so agents never see a credential.

Access rules can be set per folder, file, skill and tool for both people and their
agents, and audit logs show which agent used what. Everything is stored as commits
in a git repository you control. Hexis works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude
Code, Codex and any agent that speaks MCP. The software is open source under the
Apache-2.0 licence and can be self-hosted with Docker.

Hexis Cloud, launched on Product Hunt on 12 October 2026, is the hosted version,
made because many teams, especially non-technical ones, needed help running it themselves.
It finished #7 for the day with 124 upvotes. Hexis is made by Bevel (Bevelites GmbH,
Munich), the team behind the UTCP tool-calling protocol; Product Hunt lists co-founder
Juan Viera Garcia and Ali Raza as its makers.

_We have not tested Hexis ourselves. This page brings together its official site,
its GitHub README, its Product Hunt page and the official pricing pages of comparable
products, and says where each fact comes from._
