## Advertising

We show display ads through Google AdSense. Google chooses which ads appear, and
advertisers have no say in our articles. We do not show ads on thin or private pages.

## Sponsored articles

Companies can pay for a sponsored article. It is clearly labelled “Sponsored”, must
meet our sourcing standards, and its links to the sponsor carry `rel="sponsored"`.

## Paid listings

Startups can pay for a fast-track or featured listing in our directory, or a featured
job on the jobs board. Payment buys review priority or placement, not a favourable
description.

## Affiliate links

Some articles link to products through affiliate programmes. If you buy through 
one of these links we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links
carry `rel="sponsored"` and pages that use them include a disclosure. Whether a 
product has an affiliate programme does not affect whether or where we recommend
it.
